I really thought she pulled off sonething surprisingly great here too. I think it would be nice if she got nominated also, but I think it's too early to tell yet. I'm pulling for her though.

She should definitely get something. Michael Shannon too. This is the first film I've seen him in and I would definitely pay to watch him in something else. The film was a little bit tamer than I expected but their scenes together were really good, especially that awkward first date at the beginning of the film.

frances mcdormand won for fargo which was march. winona ryder iceman is may. winona did better in iceman than frances did in fargo.

If she is nominated and/or wins it will be deservedly so. I hope this film is the springboard for a career resurgence for her.
