more like a made for tv movie..big let down..

im not saying Kuklinski did not embellish his story in prison and for his cameras and books...im pretty sure he took credit for much more than he did..
but if i were gonna make a film based on his life i would think you would have such a wide assortment of twisted tales to choose from..
he was more a serial killer or homicidal maniac than the average mafia hitman and thats just how the movie portrayed him..almost someone who was forced in the life and excelled at being a mafia hitter..
if you go buy his own words he is one of the most twisted men to walk the planet and this film becomes almost more of a horror film rather than just your run of the mill made for TV mafia movie..and in regards to the mafia they were all over the place..a film on Roy Demeo and his crew who probably in reality far eclisped the homicidal tendencies of the iceman...
with all of the starpower in this film it took on the feel of a tv movie..bad
they didnt unleash the real richard at all..did not show how sadistic he was..
they did not show the brutailty and sheer terror he struck into his own family..
they seriously missed a great oppurtunity.....this could of been amazing in the right directors hands..instead we get a lifetime movie at best...
