I hear richard was a huge liar but he did kill the icecream man right?
If so was it the way it was portrayed in the movie i kill your family you do mine really?
Didnt he realise he wouldnt kill women why suggest?

No, that's not at all how it happened. You should really read the book. They changed so much in the movie.
