I must say I was looking forward to this movie, and was a bit disappointed. I think if you didn't know the true story you would think it was a good movie, Michael Shannon always does so good in most of his roles. I feel that the film was rushed, I feel there was a lot they didn't get to. I know every movie leaves some things out, but did I miss the part where he killed Demeo? Or did they leave it out? That's a big part to skip I think. So maybe I just missed it. I also think if you are interested in the Iceman, forgo the move and maybe watch the documentary, it's so good, and chilling. All of what the movie tried to be and failed. But in general in the year of the terrible movie, it was an OK movie. Maybe a 6 out of 10. Just a renter, not a buyer for me.

I really enjoyed it!
I felt the same about missing him killing DeMeo. I just felt the ending was rushed
They missed a lot in this film but again it is just a movie length not a mini series which would be awesome!

I really liked it, Shannon is better and better the more I see him. I don't think he ever got the chance to kill Demeo since the stuff he bought from the undercover agent was what he was going to use on it I believe but was arrested beforehand...and the poison was fake.

In real life, DeMeo was murdered in 1983 and Richard was arrested in 1986. I believe that Richard had nothing to do with DeMeo anyway, but I wish that he got his comeuppance in the film.
