Was Kuklinski set up by his old friend Dino?
Or was Dino totally unaware he was introducing him to a cop? The conversation in the hospital makes it seem as though Dino might suspect him of killing their
mutual friend Terry.
I don't think he did. I doubt he would be able to hold his cool and he didn't seem panicked when Ritchie was interrogating him.
That conversation should have made Kuklinski suspicious though. If the cops talked to Dino and not to him, there was a good reason. He was a suspect already and they didn't want to spook him.

Yeah, probably not. But Kuklinksi needs cyanide and Dino just happens to know a guy who can probably get it and that guy turns out to be a cop?
I thought the whole ending was handled in a rather perfunctory manner, actually. I saw the documentaries years ago and I can't remember the details.
They could have drawn it out a bit and made things a little clearer as to how he actually got busted.
