I just watched this, and although I knew it was based on a true story, I didn't know anything else about Richard Kuklinski, mainly because I live in Scotland.
Anyway, my question is, before he started working for Roy Demeo, had he already committed many murders and how much did his friends know about his ruthlessness? From the way they were talking in the pool hall, it seemed like they knew he might do something about the guy he eventually killed.
I'll just answer my own question as I saw this line in one of the reviews, '(he was a serial killer long before the mob approached him).'
So there we go.
If you are even more curious do a google search on him and read a couple of the accounts there, it will give you a more-rounded idea of his whole life.
