Why didn't they show him getting whacked before Kuklinski got arrested? Plus didn't he murder Mr. Softee/Freezy/Frosty right before the went to work with Demeo's crew?

We do not know who killed DeMeo. He was found inside the trunk of a car, shot five times. That's all. There is speculation that Kuklinsky might have done that one, too. But still, it is just a speculation.

It's now widely believed and accepted that DeMeo was whacked by his own guys.

Demeo was ordered to be hit by Big Paul Castellano, boss of the Gambinos.
