The Lord Business' remark on Emmet's double decker couch is non-sensical
He said something about how the person that sits at the bottom will see dangling legs of the people sitting on the upper couch... but they are Lego minifigures! When they sit down, their legs are impossible to dangle. Lord Business doesn't make any sense at all!
In fact, for Lego minifigures, the double decker couch is not that bad an idea. I don't understand why the scriptwriter chose the couch to mock again and again.
The twist that they figured out to use the couch to hide doesn't even clever. How can they fit into an impossibly small space, a solid brick at that, not even a container or something hollow. It was too contrived and too forced.
They could use a dumber creation that doesn't work in real life and in Lego universe. Maybe like a 7-doors refrigerator that Emmet thought would be useful to store food of friends so they don't get mixed up (like the lockers in schools, but one that also cools). It's silly both in real world and in Lego world. And the fact that they all can hide in it will be more plausible.
