On Purpose?

I watched this entire movie and for some reason 1 thing continued to stand out...

There were quite a few "Shoot Outs" and Gun Fights...Tons of People being shot at and Yet I did NOT see one person actually get shot(except The Rock, who got shot in the a$$ ans Kevin Smith who got shot in the neck)

So My question is, this couldn't have been on accident...there were just too many shoot outs where no one got shot...

So It had to have been done intentionally for "Rating" Purposes or more likely due to the Story itself, The Rock's character was a Good guy all along(although we dont know that tell the end), and most of the shoot outs were Him against The Other Agents(who thought he was Rogue)...So that means The Rock's characters probably intentionally did NOT shoot The Agents, instead shot close to them or at things to disable them(example being the time he shot at The Light and it fell down and Hit the agent)

So do you think The reason why No one was actually shot in all the shoot outs was for Rating Purposes or simply due to the story ?

It's clearly due to story in this one. The agents can't kill him because they need the information they think he has. He can't kill them because he's a good guy and wouldn't hurt his own men. So, they both just end up wasting ammo and causing damage for no real reason. Part of it probably is for ratings though. He never actually has any bad guys after him, rather other CIA officers that he won't kill. In a hard action film, the good guy would be faced with bad guys instead that he would then kill for obvious reasons.
