Racist movie
all of the bullies/bad guys were white dudes, picking on poor little Rock and Kevin Hart.

shareThat's not true. There was a black guy in the locker room scene who complemented Robbie's dance moves.
shareBecause the bullies happened to be white, that made the movie racist? In this movie, the student body president was a black male who was not only an athlete but a thespian as well. The main black male and female characters were advanced degreed accountant and lawyer, respectively. These characters were also high school sweethearts who went on to get married after college, and delayed having children. If anything, this movie seemed to defy the usual black stereotypes.
shareI think he means racist against whites, not blacks
shareYes! Solid points! OP Let's celebrate the anti-bully message in the movie instead of going out of the way to prove that the movie is racist.

Johnson's character is picked on just one time in this movie. Every other time...well you saw how they ended up.
I think you're being a tad over-sensitive.
Twice actually, in the office scene with adult Trevor.
It's not a racist film either, in fact the 'You're like a black Will Smith' line might have been the funniest line in the film.
