My friend and I are trying to settle an argument. He thinks fat Rock is CGI whereas I believe it's the Rock in a fat suit. Can someone clear this up?

Rocks hardcore, he would have put the weight on in one week and lost it in another.

It looks like his face is CG'd on a fat guy's face. Doesn't look like makeup.

Weird is the new normal.

I didn't even recognize the face as his.
Thought it's a normal random fat actor.

Look at Eddie Murphy in Norbit. That's a fat suit. It's obviously CGI and bad CGI at that.

I think it's a full-CGI face on a real fat guy. There's something about the mouth that gives it away to me. It still looks cool to me.

I think it's Vine sensation Sione Maraschino of All About that Bass video (Meghan Trainor) fame. I think I remember him posting a vine of the BTS making of it. It's Sione's real body, but with a latex mask of young Rock.
