Part exploitation, art, horror, comedy, snuff film, musical, and Jackass

This film may not have the best plot, but it definetly is a film made by creatively blending an strange combination of films, one can see so many influences. Home video obviously, but the Freddy Krueger masks, the Troma-esque cheap monster masks, the strange idea of it being a film you would find that someone made by taping over a Saved By The Bell rerun videotape collection-and blowing it up to fit in a cinema, the stange noises the humpers make sound nearly like a pack of strange animals that are being filmed for a nature docu, the Jackass inspired destruction of ugly stuff in ugly places, the idea of voyeurism implicit in watching the "found" tape, the faux reality style of the Balir Witch Project
This is not escapist cinema, but it is relevant from an artistic standpoint it is very creative and shows we have a confident artist in Korine. He is willing to follow his crazy ideas to the finish. He is able to get his films made, and made very well at that.
For those who aren't interested in media, this may not be your cup of tea.
