Imagine the effect on teenage girls with big noses

As if there isn't enough pressure to be beautiful already. Kids, go to medical school and become a plastic surgeon, this film is going to create millions of new customers.

that is assuming the film will become a major hit and be seen by millions of viewers so much so that it will be plastered into pop culture.. somehow i doubt that .. not saying teh film itself wont be successful but yeah.

I doubt it would. The plastic surgery is only really referenced at the beginning.

Yeah, but she really had a honker.

I wouldn't worry about it. If you're looking for a market for plastic surgery, look no further than Iran. Genetically big noses and women want to be as pretty as possible to get a good husband.

The movie is all about vanity.

Millions? How big a hit do you think it is?

I for one think it's wrong to shame people for wanting to get plastic surgery. It's their body, and if they are happier for getting, it's not your place to tell them that they shouldn't.

People often look worse after plastic surgery, and even if they look good they're still fooling any potential person who they might end up having kids with. When your kid ends up with a crazy nose that seems to have come out of nowhere...

Sometimes plastic surgery does go wrong, but on the whole, everyone I've known who has had it has felt immeasurably more comfortable in their own skin afterwards. It's not your place to say whether they look worse or better; if they're happier, then that all that matters.

And it hasn't occurred to you that a person's self-esteem throughout their entire life is somewhat more important than the feelings of a butthurt potential partner?
