How did they know who Lucy's real father was? I'm pretty sure there weren't paternity tests during those times. Cesaire clearly found out he wasn't the father when he could not communicate with her. But Suzette and Henry's father were already aware of this and that was the reason they wanted Valerie to marry Henry instead of Lucy. If Henry's father was the only man Suzette had been with before her pregnancy, Cesaire would have already known Lucy was not his. So then, how did Suzette know for sure Cesaire wasn't Lucy's father?
