That Leonardo DiCaprio was one of the producers for this movie?

He was also the one who came up with the whole "Little Red Riding Hood as a sexy romantic thriller" idea. The company that did this movie, Appian Way, belongs to him, and they hired David Leslie Johnson to write a script with the idea.

I just thought it was out of place that he was attached to this movie in any way that's why I was shocked to see his name.

Well, I guess it goes to show if you own the production company, you can get any movie made no mattter how LOL terrible it is.

He didn't write the script. Just because it was his idea doesn't mean it sucked because of him.
