Tom Cruise's best movie.
Yes. This is. I love this movie. Goodnight, love ya.
shareI love this too, it's beautifully made and every scene and spoken word has a purpose in telling the story.
shareI agree with you. I love this movie. I admit, I had to watch it several times to get it. The meaning of the movie is so real and the last scene of the movie makes me cry. Love this.

Best Sci-Fi genre love story ever made. A very decent, even for an entire family, film overall. Rated/Ten of Ten.
shareHmmm...the tone and theme is to heavy for children under 13 I'd say.
shareThere's a skinny dipping scene too.

Sorry, that title goes to Interstellar (2014).
Yup. You can think of Tom Cruise what you want - the man has an intense passion for movies (as entertainment, ok) and the ability to give them that "extra" that lifts them above the common crowd pleaser. Just for this movie - which I believe is a masterpiece - I will shut up whenever I want to criticize him in the future. Or when I do, I will close with "but on the other hand, he made 'Oblivion'".
He didn't do it alone, of course. It was Kosinski's vision. It is tragic that so few people "get" his movies, like the very much under-appreciated Tron: Legacy.
