Very well done. Good casting, direction, cinematography. I recommend

It was very nicely done. Actors were good. That was “book coming to life”.

That was “book coming to life”.

Oh so you've read the book then ? What were the major differences between this 2022 production and the book that stood out to you ?

I read it a long time ago. Like in childhood. )))

I actually find many of the old detective book to be badly transitioned to screen. I remember how it was so interesting to read those books. And then I see a movie or tv show based on it and its so boring and I dont care about characters. Here I was actually interested. It wasnt boring. It was too pretty to watch. Cinematography was top notch.

Its probably because writers of the books make it seem more interesting that it was in real life. With everything that characters think and analyze. And then they put it on screen and all of that is lost and we just see character react to things.

I agree. I haven't read the book, but as a mini-series it was quite good. Much better than one of the earlier versions that had Miss Marple somehow shoehorned into it, even though she was quite unnecessary to the plot. I think Dr. House must have injected quite a few funny lines into the script because I enjoyed laughing at quite a few things in it.
