Fuck this cringey movie.

This movie does exactly what it's mocking other people of doing.

It's starts with a trigger warning. One is for flashing lights. Fair enough, you don't want people tripping out while watching it. The other two warnings are for traumatic moments and an unlikable female character. Funny enough, I actually found her to be the most likable. One character at work mentions God, and someone replies with something like: "um..., excuse me, we all have different religions here", to which a girl responds, "well I never said which God". There are also mentions of BLM and #metoo.

The characters say things like "yaaas", "queen" and "boomers". They talk about the patriarchy. Early in the film, one of the characters said "I hate straight people". One character named Rowan calls out politicians for not doing anything about gun violence.

I'm not offended at this movie, but I couldn't help but cringe throughout the entirety of it. It just screamed social justice. I went to the writer/director's Instagram account and she is exactly like the characters in the film.

Props to Zoey Deutch though for knowing exactly how to play the character and being the only reason why I didn't turn this off half an hour in.

Director/writer of this movie " identifies as queer. Since 2015, she has been in a relationship with her Blame co-star Nadia Alexander". Thats all you need of knowing why this movie is so cringe )))

Movie is hilarious in that sense that its not parody of woke clown world like people can assume watching it. They are completely serious. Crazy woke people lack any self-awareness and they dont see how ridiculous and unsympathetic they look. Its like that Bros movie where they put every woke clishe in that and then wondered why no one watched that movie and it flopped. This would fop too if they would release it in theaters.

Protagonist was the only sane and sympathetic character. Surrounded by crazy woke idiots. Writer wrote that snob black queer guy and lesbo with short hair in the elevator scene completely thinking they were the sympathetic ones ))) While viewers hates those two the moment they speak and side eye her.

Yes,. Props for Zoey Deutch to acting her character with seriousness and being the only sympathetic character in this wokefest )))

There are a lot of good gay directors. The problem with this movie is that it's overwhelmingly liberal . It talks down to the audience while pretending to be tongue-in-cheek.

It's funny how they portray her as the villain. She felt pressure by society to dldo what she did and when she admits what she did was wrong, they all threw her under the bus. There was no way she could win in this scenario. Society was the real villain and yet this film wanted me to feel bad for her.

The title and the poster image are revolting. I know nothing about this film but I saw the image at the top of the board.

I'll definitely give this one a pass.
