why is this movie on tv all the time?

I finally caved and watched it today, it's really sour and depressing, and Melissa McCarthy doing gross-out comedy like a female version of john belushi is just weird and wrong...it's bad enough that overweight male comedians push this brand of comedy. almost all the characters are obnoxious. there's nothing fun or funny or light-hearted about this film, it's as dark and dreary as a suicide. still not sure why it's on tv all the time, maybe its target audience is people who are already down, so they can point and laugh at people worse off than they are? I don't know.

You're confused by it all, eh?

Because it was overhyped and people like to be told what is or isn't good.

This movie really is the worst movie I've ever seen...I'm serious. If the reviews were bad, then nobody except for a select few would like it. It's the exact same comedy we've seen a million times, but with an all female cast copying other performances.

There was a movie called The Groomsmen that came out in 2006 for Pete's sake!!!!

What's next? An all kids' cast called The Ringbearers? I'm sure there will be some hefty kid acting like all the hefty comedians from the past 50 years, and everybody will say how groundbreaking the kid's performance is.

The Oscars were already going downhill,
but they reached an all-time low by having anything to do with Bridesmaids.

Not original, not funny, not enjoyable...not anything but a good experiment on how easily people can be manipulated into liking something as AWFUL as Bridesmaids.
