There's a Colonial woman On the Wing!

Did anyone see this? Call me crazy, but I think I did see it the first time I watched my DVD of Bridesmaids.

I never saw it again. And I stare at the screen during the airplane scenes, and try not to blink so I don't miss it, but I have only seen it that once, unless I am delusional.

Is there a way the DVD makers can have a split-second shot only appear the first time the DVD is watched???❔

reply

It was in the version I saw on USA Network last week. I don't know why it wouldn't be on the DVD. It was not during a closeup of Wiig's face, as I recall -- she was standing/walking in the plane and I think her back was to the camera.

reply

That is so odd because that is one of my favorite lines in the whole movie. "..She is churning butter!!!" LOL. Why it wouldnt be on DVD is odd!

I just watched this on DVD... and there was two versions of the film you could choose from... "unrated" or not... so maybe for some reason it's in one version and not the other?

reply

I just saw that part right now!

I am still laughing. I've seen the movie on various networks lately, but I don't remember ever seeing that part either. It is now my favorite part!!!

I know!! I am watching the heavily edited version on E! and I just focused on "There's a Colonial Woman on the Wing!" - LOL!! That's hilarious and so obtuse!! How did I miss it before?

Are you saying they actually *showed* a colonial woman on the wing? How did I miss this? I've seen this film dozens of times.

reply

Yes, I believe that once, I saw a colonial woman on the wing. Only once! every time I see the DVD I stare at the scene, but I haven't seen it again!

reply

Apparently. I've never seen the woman either. But the version they play on USA might have it. They take stuff out because it's an R-rated movie so they need other stuff in there... that's how my sisters found the scene with the kid! They loved it and they'd never seen that before.

It was on the Blu Ray I watched last night. I'm assuming it was a nod to the classic Twilight Zone episode with William Shatner seeing a gremlin on the wing. And I think it was the unrated version I watched.

WHY did they not have a shot of Annie's hallucination? It would've taken all of 1 second and added so much!
