So Annie is immune to food poisonings ?

I mean all the other girls were puking and sh!tting themselves (except from Rose Byrne's caracter since she didn't eat anything )yet Annie seemed to be... pretty OK
I mean she was sweating like a pig and couldn't eat that almond but other than that, she got off pretty easy.

That type of thing affects people differently. She was clearly ill, I'm sure it just took a little longer to completely "hit" her full force.

you are not a beautiful and unique snowflake.

You could be right. Thanks for the reply.

She doesn't eat the meat that the rest of the girls are eating (says that she doesn't like to eat it before a fitting). Assuming that's why. :)

reply

That was Helen, not Annie.

She just puked later while driving Lil home.

reply

She said later when Helen and her were out driving around that she crapped her pants. So it did hit her later on she was just using every ounce of energy to hold everything together to not prove Helen right.

Liliian mentions on the way to the restaurant the Annie finds lot of dive-y, but good food places.

Maybe she's gotten sick before from being adventurous and can handle it better than the other women.

I'm not sure if it's possible to develop a stronger resistance to food poisoning if you've had it before though.

There's a scene where Annie and Lillian are driving on the way back from the fitting, and Annie pulls the car over to "check her tire" but really throws up.

reply

Actually in the unrated version of the movie. After the fitting annie and lillian drives home and then annie pulls the car over to check her "flat tyres" and she threw up.

reply

Didn't she stop the car on the way home to throw up? She was clearly ill.

Speaking of which, i can't see why those scenes were funny. People throwing up and *beep* themselves, it was disgusting and felt out of place. Not that the movie was great to begin with though.

reply

The way I saw it, Annie DID want to throw up but was holding it in so that Helen would not get the satisfaction of knowing that Annie got everyone sick by taking them to that restaurant. Remember how she was trying to convince everyone that it was not the food?

Also, I thought the throwing up scene was hilarious. Would it have been funnier if men were doing it? Plus, that always happens in gross humor movies, if you actually like that sort of thing.

reply

I dont like seeing people *beep* themselves, I agree it doesnt make me laugh at all, but ironically people throwing up makes me roll with laughter. Have no idea why. The end of Inbetweeners UK in the tent still to this day makes my stomach hurt.

reply

There's a deleted scene where Annie is driving in car w her friend after she crapped in the street. Annie pulls over and pukes her guts out on side of the road

reply

In the final third of the film, Annie is in her car with Helen and tells her that she *beep* her pants
