now that the 5 year Snyder reign of absolute and utter failure is over....The future is bright for DC films....

The DCEU is dead, everything is was is gone,being rebooted and recast and being cut out and erased....all future DC films are just that "DC films" not "DCEU films" as the DCEU is dead...

The key here though is Success going to be enough for DC fans, as they are deeply upset,angry and jealous of the Decade long run of absolute dominance from Marvel Studios

as for the OP he is in for a long and difficult road as hes hoping and expecting DC to have not ONLY "MCU type success" more more than "MCU type success"

simply put that just not even in the cards

for example, Wonder Woman is a run away hit, an absolute home run...but given it had ALL the same advantages, it couldnt come close to the success of Black Panther

Both films are nearly identical in their roads to release

Both Characters were introduced in Event types films in BvS and Civil War(which is another example of DCEU films not having "MCU type success") both characters were introduced to get hype and audiences invested in thier solo movies.

Both characters then had SOLO movies that were universall praised and Loved, received excellent reviews and whats scary ODD is both movie had nearly identical "Cultural movements" get behind the film that droves them to greater heights

bottom line, You have 2 movies in WW and BB that were nearly identical, that had the exact same advantages, were introduced in the same way and ODDLY had the same Cultural movement get behind the film resulting in both films literally having an absolute perfect storm of hype that gave the films their Max Performing capabilities

and The results are DCs best case scenario in WW.....didnt get within 500 Million dollars of Marvel Studios Best case scenari in BB...

again no doubt WW is a grandslam....but the facts are It didnt have "MCU type success"

can DC fans learn to deal with this?....as for the OP the answer is clearly no..but I also think that is the same for DC fans in general...I think they are so BURNT by the 5 years reign of embarrassment and failure....they are going to go crazy when DC films final start to succeed, I'm not sure they are going to be able to accept that DC films are hits and are succeeding yet just arent having "MCU type success"

in that stretch were talking 8 films.

6 grossed over 115 Million on opening weekend, grossed over 300 Million domestically and grossed over 850 Million WW

all 8 were universally loved receiving 80% or better on RT...

3 grossed over 1.150 Billion

all resulted in incredible and Literally Historic Amounts of Profit including a 700 Million + profit from AIW and 550 M + on BB....to put that in prespective...

MOS made 42 Million In Profit
BvS Made 103 Million
Justice League Lost 60 Million

WB spend a combined 850 Million + making these 3 films....it resulted in a 85 M total profit.

Disney made more profit from 1 MCU film in AIW than all 5 DCEU films combined

I get that DC fans are excited and they should be...BOth Marvel and DC can have success..unfortantly for DC fans...they are just going to have to accept, DC films arent going to have "MCU Type success".....as that would be impossible considering The MCU is currently having the greatest box office success in Hollywood History
