Episode 4.2: don't understand the Declan (room painter guy) scene?
Did I miss something? It seemed that Steven killed Declan's mom (he was all bloody when he texted him), then he stabbed his own palm in the kitchen, but when Declan arrived there, there wasn't any blood to alert him something was amiss. I don't understand this because cleaning up after himself wasn't Steven's MO thus far, right? And what was the point of this whole scene at all? Was the murder even discovered by the police? Did they learn anything new from it? If not, why have it at all?
EDIT: I just realized he stole the painter clothes and van so I guess that explains it to some extent...
