Renee is too old, looks completely different and it's just not charming anymore. These movies were relics of the early 2000s, people have long gotten over this type of feature. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and the other movie released this weekend, Blair Witch, had to learn the same painful lesson... you can't always go back.

Sexism is sadly still so prevelent.
Oh what a day! What a lovely day!
The sexism was in portraying a 43 year old woman as a babbling idiot who can't behave honestly from moment to moment. It was truly cringeworthy and I am very annoyed at the critics who gave it a high enough score that I took a chance on it.
