stupid premise

just saw the tv spot.

the idea that they'd be fighting over some chick that screwed them both and then doesn't know who's baby she's carrying is ridiculous.

As a guy I can with no hesitation say I would not fight for her. I would take full responsibility for the baby as it is not the babies fault the adults involved are idiots.
I can say as well hearing the words "whoops I slept with you and another guy, with no protection or birth control, and whoopsie I am pregnant could be yours or his, please still love me" would only make me cut off all ties .

1st, it's hoolywood (this plot is not even close to the worst). 2nd, you totally missed the point of this film if you see it as "some chick that screwed them both"

Highly unlikely, but the thing is she didn't expect them to fight over her. She just thought they should know and also wanted to find out who the father was. But Mark turned out to be totally into the idea of getting back with his old love and being a father, and Jack just showed up at her door having decided he was up for the adventure. It was a lot harder to buy with Jack, I know, but I could certainly suspend disbelief for a romantic comedy.
