When the teaser trailer for this cam our i cried, it looked perfect.
I literally sobbed for the last 10 minutes of this film, it was so perfect. Renee looked absolutely beautiful, seeing Mark and Bridget happy and Married with a family was overwhelming and joyous.

Agreed. So happy that she reached for Mark's hands only in hospital while having contractions and that they got their happy ending finally. There were so many lovely Mark/Bridget scenes and indications that she's still in love with him, Jack had no chance at all. Loved seeing them so happy and smiling when Mark said hello to the baby for the first time and then when they were married. The writers handled their relationship well in this film and Colin and Renee were superb, the chemistry still there after all these years.

While he was professing his love as she bit him was moving. It was symbolic of how he would not back off and would love her just as she is.
Where after Jack got it in the nose he retreated.
But what I liked about this movie is Mark was not just a cardboard character but we got to see him beyond Bridget's usual commentary. When he woke to find her gone, when he visited the Qwantify website, and when he found the reindeer jumper. I think this is the first time we had a little more substance to go on.
I loved this movie and had to agree with the minister at the end..."Finally...Husband and Wife" Oh the beauty of it!
Yeah I just watched it and I choked up almost every time Colin Firth looked at the camera with those big damn cocker spaniel eyes.
shareDoes anyone know the song when Bridget is walking down the hill with her son in her arms just before the credits roll? I found that end scene very heartwarming.
