What's with all the damn man-bashing??

Every other line out of Emma Thompson's mouth was about how sh!tty men are. There's an entire march of angry feminists protesting in the streets. How does that have anything to do with what this series is about?? I mean, they made Hugh Grant - easily the biggest sleazeball ever put on film look like the most awesome guy in the world. And yet, they don't even have him in this movie. WTF??

Are women threatened by the idea of male characters appearing truly, utterly attractive in movies... because god-forbid, they don't want to ever be manipulated to jump in the arms of men anymore, am I right? Why do we have to constantly hear about men in a negative light?? How is that not sexist and misandrist in nature??

Get off your soapbox while I play you a tune on the tiniest violin.

Women are threatened by Colin Firth and McDreamy?

So 'Luke', does all this mean you feel threatened by a fictional movie with a man-bashing character? Pull yourself together and get some grit, be confident in yourself. Don't let some fictional character destroy your manhood!

She's meant to be a hardboiled, no-nonsense doc. She's equally undiplomatic in telling Bridget Jones that she's old and promiscuous.

Pick your battles. Theres loads of feminazi crap going on in the world but this isnt it.
Its just a shi t 1d film and its been the same since the 1st one.

It must be difficult to be a man, after thousands of years os systematic sexism and only recently approaching equality. Sorry men :(. I cry with you :((.

How about you get off your soapbox to the sound of an even tinier violin? So sensitive.
