My Christmas traditions for the past decade have included watching Bridget Jones' Diary. Love that movie.
Her birthday is in November.
Bugs me that they changed it for this movie...it's now in May.

They wouldn't have been able to run with the whole camp/festival line and have her have some mid-life crisis without it being her birthday?
Or did no one making this movis watch the first one to begin with?
I hate when movies/shows do that :( it feels like they aren't very considerate of the fans. I'm sorry :/

From the very beginning/opening scenes of this I thought the whole 'Bridget's birthday'thing was off because in Bridget's 1 and 2, it seemed to me her birthday was November 8th/9th if I recall correctly, and wasn't there several of the players who were wearing if not coats and jackets then at least jumpers/scarves, which is an indicator of late autumn/wintry weather, definitely NOT early May!! That DID kind of throw me for a loop right from the jump ! :) ??
