What scares You about Home invasion?

Movies about Home invasion have been around since the golden age of Hollywood, from Night of the Hunter, The Purge, Them, Henry: portrait of a Serial Killer, You're Next...list goes on.

So what scares You about Home invasion films?

Is it that the invaders could have moral values in their life: a double life? could it be their occupation? Their Age?

Or your nice cozy home is now a nightmare ;)

Being prisoner in my own house which is supposed to be a haven, a safe place where I can protect myself from the rest of the world. When your intimicy is violated and that the place you considered a cocoon is disrupted, you helplessly lose your bearings and your reference points. You feel threatened and you can't believe anymore that you'll be safe again because your safe place was "broken"
