Columbo shows up at the scene of the crime in his pickup truck. Asks for a beer before starting. Tells the other investigators how stupid they are and cusses them out. Questions the suspects with a "WHAT?" after every statement. Finally catches the perpetrator and tells them "That's the bottom line because Columbo said so."

Sounds like perfect casting like Crispin Glover as James Bond or Pauly Shore as Ronald Reagan.
