possibly the dumbest episode ever...perfect time to unveil mrs columbo used rather as the absurdity of not seeing her on a cruise ship with various lame excuses...the writers get a big fat zero and the producers should have gotten sharp sticks in their eyes for this one...the rumpled raincoat look doesn't apply here either...oh yeah the director of this trash was ben gazzara...i would have expected better

shareI was disappointed his dog wasn't on the cruise. He would have loved being on the boat. I didn't think it was a bad episode. I also did wonder why the gun wasn't thrown over board. I wasn't sure if the killer really didn't have time to throw it or if he left it there on purpose to set up the band member.
sharei don't suppose they let dogs on cruises, and i doubt the dog would enjoy it. Dogs like to be able to run about and smell things and pee on things, and there's not much opoortunity for that on a boat. i was on the mersey ferry a couple of years ago and there was a dog on it, it looked totally bored. it hated the boat, it just wanted to go walkies.
