My thoughts on it. It wasnt as bad as I thought it would be

I expected it to be very boring. But I was actually interested in what was happening.

- There was very little wokeness. It reminded me those light heart Hollywood pop-corn flicks of the 90-th. The only ridiculous thing was how those petite women-villains were beating up and throwing men twice bigger then them. Very Kristen Stewart in Charlie Angels from them.

- I appreciate that producers werent afraid to cast women of color in villain roles. It doesnt happen too much these days as everyone afraid to be called racists.

- Mark Wahlberg and Tom Holland really tried to be "bad" and trash talk each other. Poor kittens. They just dont have it in hem )))) But I appreciate the attempt.

- I loved how movie killed Banderas character just like that so early. Movies never do that and stick with some villain till the end. And i loved how he hired another henchwoman when Braddock didnt deliver.

- That Braddock character was so ridiculously over the top. As IF everyone would just start listening to her. Who would pay them? She? Banderas payed them his own money.

- I loved how in pop-corn movies security cameras dont exist. Like Drake and Sully ROBBED auction in broad daylight. They stole that expensive cross. Police would look at the camera and announce hunt on them. Where ever those two would went - there would be arrest warrant for them. They cant back in USA now. But movie pretends that no one cared that such thing was stolen.

- That whole parachutes and plane thing was just so bad and cartoohish.

- Chloe character is just the worst. I hope they dont bring her to sequel.

- Helicopters and ship was so over the top and unrealistic that it was hilarious. ))) Eventually you just have to pretend that movies exist in their own universe.

I was ready to hate it but liked it better than expected. I think a more serious tone (like Indiana Jones or Mission Impossible) would had been more to its benefit. Honestly, I wish if Christopher McQuarrie directed it.
