Why didn't Nia Long return?

I was just wondering why is that Nia Long didn't return this time around as Malcom's wife.

*Shrugs* She had better things to do and decided to carry on living her life? Maybe?

reply

Because she prolly knew it was crap, and what the other post said.

My guess it was her schedule.

reply

Yeah I think her schedule from January 2009 - October 2010 involved not being in a sorry excuse for a film

Too much self respect/integrity/dignity to participate in this mess.

May be she needed that time to make a good film once in a while?

reply

Everybody is saying that she must have had too much dignity to return. . . But obviously not enough dignity to have already starred in two terrible "Big Momma's House" films?

reply

She was busy fighting crime and rescuing puppies. Short of that, I can't fathom ANY possible reason why she'd want to stay away from this.

reply

Well to be honest the first Big Momma IS watchable (at least for me). The second, however, is just dull. You can definetely watch both if you want to chill out with a drink.

reply

Maybe she wasn't in it cause she's a nobody now and Martin didn't need her just like he didn't need her for the secound one.
