Anybody Notice the Bad Musical Scenes?
This is what ruined the movie for me if you ask me because I felt it was completely out of placed. Why couldn't they just have the actors sing live to have that natural feel to the scene?
shareIt's good that someone else besides me noticed. The musical scenes weren't that bad(awkward at points ofcourse), but they just wasn't for this type of movie. Something tell me that some writers got in Martin's here and told him he had to put something like that in just to try to attract/keep up with the High School Musical/Disney/Glee young musical crowd.

shareThought I actually didn't find the whole music storyline with Trent that bad. Also even liked the resolve of it since it wasn't so stereotypical. But yeah actually inserting music like it was an actual musical was very out of place.
