If Indy and co. had been trapped in 213 BC with Archimedes -what difference could they have made to the course of history? I remember "Lest Darkness Fall" and the short story "Aristotle and the Gun".

I'd be more concerned for him stopping himself from doing Dial of Destiny and Crystal Skull.

It could probably jeopardize younger Indy stopping the Nazis from obtaining the Grail or discovering the secret to using the Ark and not frying yourself. And you know how fans react at the possibility of the events of a previous movie having been undone etc.
