The Ghanaian Ambassador

What was up with this guy's acting??? It was all exaggerated gestures and contorted expressions.

Not sure if the actor was just that bad or if he was supposed to be in contrast to the more poker-faced Yakuza.

Either way, he was one of the more entertaining parts of the film (which was otherwise fun, if simplistic - just one double-cross after another).

When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...

You mean the "Gbanan" ambassador? They made up a country(although the flag reminded me of Mali or Guinea). I think he seemed this way because he is a kokojin in Japan and unlike the rest of the actors, he isnt a part of the Yakuza world. He isn't familiar with the rules, even though he seems to live in Japan for quite some time. Imho, he was shown this way to show the difference between the two worlds. Aside from him and maybe a few cops, everyone else was involved in this world somehow or kept quiet(waiter, noodle shop owner who was there when the guy got kidnapped by Kimura's gang).
