Never understood why the Espheni Queen was upset?

So, she commanded her daughter and army to try to take over Earth, and she gets upset that she lost her daughter because the primitive humans defended themselves?

I get that she was upset at losing her daughter, but the Queen has only herself to blame for provoking the humans on Earth when they were just minding their own business. I've never understood blaming others for something you caused in the first place.

Not to mention, the humans of today don't even compare to the ones 1500 years ago. So, she was getting "revenge" on the wrong humans anyhow.

We have built up weapons to destroy as many as possible of creatures on earth who have form like the queen. In Asia there are recipes galore for cooking them in their multitudes as a food source. I doubt this went unnoticed. Queens usually reproduce something similar to themselves. Overlords? Well why such diversity between male and female.

Once upon a time there was a lake filled with very intelligent snake like creatures. But all they could do was swim around in this lake. One day for some reason a bipedal relatively unintelligent being went into this and became a host for this clever parasitic creature. Over time the parasite was able to move around the universe creating overlords everywhere. This was discovered by accident when a large circular artefact was discovered that would allow travel via a worm hole to distant places. how many episodes nay series did this tale run for?

Obviously not discovered by the Espheni, Dornia, Volm Eh? 1600 years to build up a force to come to earth makes me feel that they have been warring throughout the universe with very little. How come they have managed that but as someone has said the hairless apes require a force a thousand times that of the last attempt.

And what about this fear of another more capable as yet unknown race out there. I think that went by the bye or a fear of the latent power of the race that became the skitters [Dornia]. I know that in 'Earth Final Conflict' we kept getting new races appearing.

Just glad it [Falling Skies]ended with a conclusion. At least it did not leave me wondering just who shot Jim Longworth. THE GLADES. I am still waiting you Bs. No problem with sugar coating to an end. You can have live heroes or job well done with dead heroes.

The queen lives thousands of years and is killed by one human being that she toys with. She couldn't have just killed Tom, she had to explain to him why she invaded Earth.
