Anyone else finally hate Tom Mason by the end?
I'm rooting for Pope to put a bullet between his eyes by episode 5 of this last season.

I really liked Pope even though they made him go from bad to good to bad... Sara's death was really sad and I felt sorry for Pope. The actor was excellent. Such a shame how the character ended up. Tom gets Anne back at the end and Pope had to lose Sara. For the greater good... WTF??? Just NOT fair!
And don't you just love Mason's comparison to Pope's loss when he says he lost his daughter, you know, the one he knew for about 18 minutes when added up.
shareYes. It started half-way through episode 1 but it lasted through the end.
shareI never really liked Pope to begin with 'cause of the things Maggie said him and his friends did to her
Yeah the whole mason family was super annoying
shareAbsolutely, I tolerated him but I hit the wall at season 4 episode 6 where he is defending Lexi. (I know this may seem late in the series to decide I REALLY hated him). But here he says to the people who are threating revolt something like 'when have I ever put my family first and not been prepared to do the right thing'. And I couldn't believe the writers would have him say that. Because the most annoying thing about this show is that every second episode Tom Mason puts his family's needs before the group. There are dozens of times where he diverts resources and takes risks with his live and that of others to go after his family. Why doesn't everyone revolt and ask that they go after their kids too?
No.
But the final scene between him and Pope was hard to watch: they really butchered it.
