You can tell who is clearly here to antagonize--how about going to an atheist blog and go talk there an clap each other on the back for why we're here and how angry (really) you are at God? Now, when you talk about 'Caesar', I think you're referring to Julius Caesar; and no, he was no atheist, he was a pagan. In his era, the Romans worshiped Gods like Minerva, Mars or Jupiter and Julius was not exception.
And at last, Stalin and Pol Pot were atheist, but I doubt they were killing in the name of atheism. But I always had the problem with Mao being an atheist. Many historians said that he in some way followed taoism even in religious ways, so this could be 50/50.
And for last: The point of 'who killed most people' is one of the worst fallacious arguments ever. I'm really tired of this argument that atheist use, and now religious use too.

In our view, Christian, you can use whatever term for non-believers. Atheist, Agnostic, Pagan, Humanist, Secularist, any other religion that all use works, whatever. Still comes full circle to no Savior. Sorry, God has commanded His children to not be silent. Silence has lead to far too many who suffered. Is it love to stand by and not tell someone the Good News? The answer is no it is not love. In His Word it says, 'How can they hear is it is not said?' He wishes no one to perish. It is a choice.

Hitler may have been brought up as a Catholic (the majority of people in Europe then were Catholics), but later on he delved into Occult teachings - astrology, tarot card reading, lots of different Eastern mystic traditions etc and straggled together a lot of confusing ideologies which lead to make some crazy and unfortunate conclusions. Hitler was already a little nuts anyway. The Nazi swastika symbol is a perversion of an ancient Buddhist one (he only used one part of the symbol) and originally symbolised something quite different from what we understand it today. He stole and perverted everything to fit his own radically insane and racist agenda.
He may not have been atheist but he was not christian either.
