some how I missed a scene in this movie so it didnt really make sense in the middle of the movie.

They're not the same guys who beat him. Those two guys were ziggy from the wire and RZA.
shareIt's quite clear why he tries to rob the drug dealer. The movie made this very clear. Try watching it again without distractions. He was almost out of money, they were moving his wife, he was out of time and needed to cash fast. Who better than a drug dealer piece of scum?
sharehe watches the dealer who ripped him off posing as the passport forger until his suppliers 'collection of money' guy shows up, he then tails him back to the meth lab/house/money stash.
knowing like any smart guy drug dealers don't put their money in banks they deal in cash.
so he rips them off to get enough cash to run.
i would've been nice for him to get revenge on those who beat him up, but i suppose putting them out of business for a while works.
