The title means absolutely nothing. Yeah, he has the deadline to get her out, but his preparations began much earlier, and the actual escape plan doesn't take three days.
Maybe a better title would have simply been "Jailbreak" or even some uber corny title like "I would do anything for love/her/my wife" or "How far would you go".
Either way, the title is really stupid.

I knew nothing about the movie when I watched it yesterday. I supposed it would be a courtroom drama, with the husband investigating on his own, trying to find the real murderer. So I was surprised about the change of direction. Well done, all of them!
