Awful movie and too long

I was really disappointed with this movie. Also I noticed the main characters name is LaMarcus James. Is he basically supposed to be Lebron? The name is too similar and not sure if its a nod to Lebron being like "so much more than an athlete" But the movie just really does nothing for 2 hours long. I shouldn't have bothered. It's the type of movie I would usually like but that doesn't mean they're all good.

I I thought this was Kurt Warner’s movie but that’s American underdog or something

Yea American Underdog was actually really good. Really enjoyed that one. But this one just stunk and wasn't even a football movie at all.

If I can say anything nice, it's reasonably well acted. And I did like how it became a thriller all of a sudden in the last fifteen minutes but it was too late. Also this movie had no ending unless I accidentally skipped ahead or something.

Absolutely so unrealistic. A student athlete who came from absolutely nothing is going to turn down $35 mill for the possibility that other athletes years down the road finally getting paid......NOPE
