Gamera Needs To Be…..

The next monster that debuts in a Godzilla film. No, scratch that……debuts in a TOHO film. Both franchises need to put aside thier collective differences & finally do the do, and introduce Gamera into the Godzillamonsterverse.

It could be basically a repeat of G vs K. Where Godzilla is on the defense over a new unknown “titan” & basically fights him not knowing he’s also a good monster, and a guardian of the earth also. After all he could be explained as easily as any other kaiju, you don’t have to go overboard or retcon anything.

Let’s not forget, Gamera’s origins like Ghidora were originally extraterrestrial. I’m not sure if they changed that along the way or still kept it. Mothra should be in this, as well as Rodan, heck, even throw Kong in there and a new enemy monster of your choice. Gigan perhaps? Maybe the Infant Island twins could also debut in this.

Possibilities are endless if only they would make it happen. You HAVE to admit, even though many of you are probably reluctant to come out and say it Gamera would be a HUGE DRAW in a Godzilla movie, much more so than Kong. You think the “New Empire” made a lot of money? Wait until this happens, it will TRIPLE it, my prediction. Sigh,….but hey who am I? I”m sure people, on both camps have broached the subject before but here’s hoping one day it does happen.
