The song at the end was emotional (spoilers)

"I remember finding out about you

Looking out from my lonely room..."

Seeing Kong, Godzilla, and Mothra on the big screen at the same time and hearing that song, which is one of my favorites, made me remember when I first discovered each character.

Kong: I was watching Alf and during a commercial break there was a trailer for King Kong Lives. I thought that was the coolest thing I had ever seen. I was 4 years old.

Godzilla: After enjoying King Kong Lives and King Kong 1976, I'm a video rental store and my mom asks if I know about Godzilla (I was around 6 years old). Then she showed me a box of Godzilla 1985. I rented that and became a fan. I eventually saw the original King Kong, but it was hard to find on Beta (we were a Betamax household).

Mothra: The same video rental store had most of the Godzilla movies in stock I saw Godzilla vs Mothra and then eventually the original.

Anyway, the ending and that song brought those memories back.
