Why are they calling this movie relatively silly?

Godzilla King of the Monsters and Godzilla vs. Kong wasn't exactly arthouse cinema.

This one was very similar to the previous movies.

I love the Godzilla and King Kong movies.

Aren't they all a bit silly though?

I haven't seen it yet but I heard the scenes in Hollow Earth come off like its a documentary

This is because they shot on location.
