Ahhhh! Real Monsters

I am convinced that the whole idea behind Monsters Inc. was based on the cartoon 'Ahhhh! Real Monsters'. It's just too similar to deny. I guarantee you whoever the person who came up with the initial concept of making Monsters Inc was a fan of this cartoon. Maybe it was a whole group of people, but I guatantee one of them was a fan of Ahhh! Real Monsters.
