The Reason For Including The RED HULK in this Movie

Now I just read this is the reason why Disney included the RED HULK in this movie and it's because of Trump. Yeah. According to Vulture:

"According to a technical crew member on the film with knowledge of both the screenings and the reshoot process (which also took place last year), the character portrayed by Harrison Ford — Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, a demagogic military leader who morphs into an irrational, orange-hued superhuman — created unforeseen political resonances for the studio in an inaugural year.

“He’s this very powerful general who becomes kind of a fascist and turns into a raging Red Hulk. That was seen as an allusion to Trump,” this source explains. “Disney was realizing, Hey, we’ve been bleeding for a while. Let’s try not to piss off our core base anymore than we have been over the past couple of years.”

Oh for Heaven's sake.. Can someone just get MARVEL away from Disney?? Is this really the reason why the INCREDIBLE HULK has been turned into a complete emasculated puss for the last 6 years since END GAME?? Because of Politics at Disney and they found him as Toxic Masculinity?? Get the fuck out of here with this shit..

The Red Hulk concept has been around for about 20 years now and General Ross as a character is as old as Hulk. As for the inclusion of Red Hulk in this movie, that was set in motion a couple years ago. None of this was a response to Trump.

reply

Bullshit. It was everything to do with Trump and no one outside of reading comics were going to know Ross was RED HULK

reply

Red Hulk has appeared in multiple video games and cartoons. It was only a matter of time before he showed up in a movie. This is why Ross kept appearing in the films. They were always going to turn him into Red Hulk eventually.

And again, Red Hulk was set to appear in this movie when it was in pre-production. That was well before Trump was elected. Hell, the first trailers and teasers dropped several weeks before Trump was reelected and they showed Red Hulk then.

The average person 25-50 years old know who the INCREDIBLE HULK was from being on Friday nights with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno and made the character commercialized, so unless you're up on comics and or video games with RED HULK in it, no one is really going to know who this is

reply

So then people between the ages of 13-25? The target demographic? Yeah, I guess they would know who the Red Hulk was. Also, there are tons of middle-aged people who play video games and watch cartoons for one reason or another.

Beyond that, and this is something you don’t seem to understand for some reason, is that these movies are based on comics so 100% of the characters shown are more familiar to comic readers than non-comic readers.

Anthony Mackie said that people just need to "chill the fuck out" and enjoy the movie:

That's social media and the left for ya!! The only way this movie does well is if Bruce Banner becomes INCREDIBLE again and fights the RED HULK, otherwise, this won't do very well. I mean, 3 reshoots for this movie and they're trying to feed the masses that this cost $180 Million?? What did it cost before all of the reshoots?? 100 Million?? I also feel like the Quality of these MARVEL movies are on par with Disney+ now and not as Epic as they used to be. Sill, I do have my tickets to see this on fan night on Feb 13th, so we'll find out soon enough. Surprised there hasn't been any leaked critics reviews by now??

No green hulk in this. Mabey Red Hulk killed him off screen before the events of this movie and the new Captain America will save the world

reply

Mark Ruffalo did say he was in it. It'd be a waste to have him and not his alter ego

reply

Pedro Pascal's character in Wonder Woman 1984 was supposed to be Trump too.

reply

Looks deliberate to me.

Not sure who they thought their target audience was going to be.
