No Pop Culture References Thank Goodness
I like how there are no modern, pop references or attempts at the characters singing like Lady Gaga or something like that. How nice.

"Atlas Shrugged- Part 1"- NOW on DVD!
^^^^ That would have been funny.
However, the new Looney Tunes cartoons have managed to put the characters in modern situations and it works nicely. Not for Pooh though. The Hundred Acre Wood is a magical world all its own. No need for modern conveniences.
Very true. I liked how this movie stayed true to the franchise's roots. Modern day pop culture references in Winnie the Pooh just doesn't work.
