Hooray! A sequel was announced at Cinema Con. No release dates, or even if it will be released in theaters, but regardless, this is awesome news!

I'm really hoping it is handled by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It will probably be handled by DisneyToon Studios and be direct-to-video.
