the nurse stupidly kept waiting for Lori

While Lori kept dragging her feet.

But Robert of all people - why Robert? How is it a good fit, and what does he have to offer her? Also, what on earth was UP with that hug?? It was like he was squeezing the insides out of her!

And most importantly - I predict that deal will fall through. She should have gone with Kevin, at least Kevin would have actually gone through with it.

Lori kept dragging her feet. There was no reason for the nurse to wait for her. She wasn't interested.

Robert has made good deals before. And he has been successful with the companies he has invested in. He can help her.

. . . You are right though. She was obviously waiting for Lori.

reply

Kevin was the best fit. Her product synergies nicely with his wedding & engagement sphere.

reply

Precisely. She just obviously didn't want to go in business with him.

reply

Yeah, unless it's a shotgun wedding I don't see how that fits at all.

reply

What do you mean?

Even Mark was saying from the start the Kevin is the best fit of all the sharks there, because of all the wedding-related businesses he has.

reply

How many people that are getting married are looking for stuff for a baby?

reply

Kevin doesn't just have clients who are only getting married now, I would imagine after all his years in business he has plenty of past clients as well.

And of those who are only getting around to it now, the majority will be shopping for baby stuff potentially.

reply

Seriously though, why does this kind of stuff even need to be explained??

reply

They aren't going to look for stuff immediately but Kevin would retain their contact emails as targeted marketing and/or people who bought stuff from a trusted vendor would go back to that source to shop for the next milestone in life. Was that really that hard of a concept to grasp?

Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

reply

Its not for right after the wedding, its about him having all their info for sending marketing material a year or two afterwards

reply

Not everyone that has a baby is planning on getting married soon or at all.

reply

yeah, but most people who get married will have a baby and need the mat. THAT was the point.

reply

They will?

reply

Well, the majority of people do still choose to reproduce, don't they?

I mean, what's your point with this?

reply

Are you a troll?

reply

Are you? What kind of a reaction is this to a legitimate point?

reply

Are there any posters on here who you don't get into disagreements with?

reply

Ah, right, good old ad hominem argumentation.

I could actually say the same to you, after your pointless and unnecessary line of questioning above. But I don't think I'll get anything worth my while here, so I'll leave you be.

This is exactly what I was thinking

Death to shakeycam directors!

reply

Kevin was definitely the right partner for her. Lori has been doing this for a while. She waits to the last min to either make an offer or back out. I have never liked Lori, she comes off as so fake with her overly praising of everyone and telling everyone they have a great deal and then even after all that she will back out.

At least Kevin is brutally honest. He just needs better deal structures to get more deals. Then again he wants to walk away with the deals greatly in his favor which makes sense but does cost him some good businesses.

reply

Robert was trying to bang her

reply

Except that just like with the You Smell Soap woman, he will come to his senses after the program and not take any of her calls. 
